Retino-A Micro Gel 0.1% | Retin-a Micro Tretinoin 0.1 Benefits and Usage

Like most people, you probably dream of having healthier skin. Everyone suffers from skin issues once they become a teenager. You could be suffering from chronic acne, for example, or it might be that you hate looking in the mirror and seeing all those fine lines. Either way, you won’t lack for potential solutions to this problem. However, it’s unlikely that any of them can hold their own compared to Retin-A micro. It’s easily become one of the most popular skin medications in the world.

Retino-A | Retin-A Micro Features

This medication is essentially a form of vitamin A. Unfortunately, most of us probably don’t get enough of this important vitamin in our regular diets. It’s truly our loss, too, because vitamin A comes with a whole host of health benefits. Vitamin A is a great way to help strengthen one’s eyes, for example. the vitamin is also a smart way to help keep your immune system working optimally throughout the year, despite things like the weather or your level of stress.

However, when vitamin A is used for its derivative, Tretinoin, we often call it Retin-A. In this form, it’s an extremely potent type of skincare. The Retin-a micro is in gel form with microsphere gel for better absorption.

Tretinoin was isolated and studied as beginning as the early 60s. However, it wasn’t until the later in the decade that researchers at the University of Pennsylvania appreciated how effective it could be against acne, amongst other things. Within just two years, the FDA approved it as a prescription to fight this type of skin affliction. It was the first ever retinoid approved for this purpose.

How Retino-A Micro Work

The way this form of vitamin A works is very exciting. When you look at over the counter options or even many other prescriptions for skincare, they tend to rely on drying out the skin, as a way of starving the pimple. Others, like cleansers, are designed to simply wash away oil and other debris that helps contribute to acne by clogging pores or otherwise feeding the current pimples that are already on your face.

There are a myriad of problems with these approaches though. In any case, Retin A doesn’t suffer from them. Instead, it goes right to the source. Now, you may think that helping to “calm” the skin is the right route to take. Many people do, which is why so many look for organic cleansers, stay away from astringents and use plenty of moisturizer.
But Tretinoin works for exactly the opposite reason. It actually irritates your skin in a minor way, to the point that skills are forced into much more rapid rates of maturity. They essentially go through their lifecycle much quicker and thus die off sooner.

This reaction helps your complexion tremendously, though, because it keeps any pimples from being able to keep root in your face. After old skin cells die, new ones are always programmed to come and replace them. These skin cells don’t arrive pre-programmed to grow pimples and zits, even if you think you’re “predisposed” to have bad acne. As a result, the acne fades and goes away.

You can still be doing other things to attract acne, of course. So even if you’re taking Retin A, be sure you regularly wash your face and eat a diet free of greasy food and empty calories.

Eliminating Wrinkles and Fine Lines with Retino-A Micro gel

While Retin-A micro has a huge following amongst those who hate having acne, there are plenty of others who have fallen in love with this medication. That’s because it turns out that Tretinoin can also be leveraged to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines too. The good news is that it doesn’t have to anything differently than what happens when it fixes acne.

The medicine reacts with the skin by forcing the dermis below the surface to begin producing collagen. This collagen then comes to the surface and fills in lines, scars and wrinkles. At the very least, they look far less noticeable though some can be eliminated completely.

In case you don’t know, collagen is a form of protein that plays a central role in main types of connective tissue. People pay good money to have collagen injected into their face and lips because of its youthful effects. Yet this amazing topical treatment can get your body to produce it for free.

Side Effects of Retino-a | Retin-a Micro gel

No medicine is not without its potential side effects. This is especially true when we’re talking about prescription medications too. The more powerful they are, often the more likely that they could potentially have negative side effects.

When it comes to Retin A, there are definitely some side effects to watch out for. However, know that when you first start using it, the acne on your face may intensify for as many as four weeks. This will die down with repeated use and moisturizer can help to curtail some of the more unpleasant feelings that go along with it.

However, whenever you apply it, there’s a good chance that your face will feel a brief moment of burning or stinging, though this should fade. Those aren’t the side effects we’re talking about.
The ones you need to watch out for when taking Retin A include things like numbness or pain in the joints or bones. Remember that this medication, though topical, works by penetrating your skin, so it can definitely reach your bones.

You may get a bloody stool or one that is pitch black, almost to the point of looking like coffee grinds.
If you feel dizzy, numb overall or have trouble breathing, you’re probably having an allergic reaction.
Should you experience any of the above, speak with a doctor. It doesn’t mean that Retino A micro isn’t right for you. Rather, it might just mean that you need a much smaller dose or simply weren’t applying it the way you were directed to.

Wonderful! I’ve been consistently using this cream and I have noticed a definite difference. I have very bad acne , not to mention wrinkles around my mouth from smoking unfortunately. Ever since I started using art natural cream I have noticed that my acne is clearing up (I also use their acne serum) and the wrinkles around my mouth are slowly diminishing. CONSISTENCY is the Key! My face now has a beautiful glow!

I like the formula of this face cream but I HATE the Tube. I use this for acne actually. I find that retinol products seem to work the best for breakouts and this does the job of keeping the majority of my zits at bay. I like that it has many other good ingredients like green tea which is great for your skin.

This cream goes on smooth and feels luxurious. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I feel I see a difference in the fine lines on my face. The price is so reasonable compared to the department stores. The smell is mild as well.

I am doing great, I used did a full application last night and other than some dryness, my skin feels fine. I actually used a tad under my eyes mixed with cream and had no bad reaction

I purchased it for the eye area but really do not see a difference. (Note: I’ve been using it for about a month) However, I have started using it for other areas and I would say it DOES work. First, I use this occasionally for all-over face application and it seems to hold moisture in at an amazing rate. Seriously, my face feels amazingly quenched. I have very sensitive skin and this does not bother me; however, I do not use it every day. So that may be why. From what I can tell, there is no fragrance, so that is also a plus.

Second, I suffer from irritated, over-washed hands. I started applying this to my hands when they get irritated and within 1 application (as in the next morning/day) there is a noticeable difference. Huge difference. I would buy it just for that.

So: great for an all-over moisturizer, but not great for moderate wrinkles under the eyes.

I am happy to report that my Retin-A treatment is going well. I have been using it every night this week without any harsh redness or irritation.

Cream by itself is awesome, but please manufacturer – change the ridiculous pump for a container, doesn’t pump, doesn’t work!!! What about same little Tube like your serums are in, what a waste! Had to return.

    The Good:
The product itself is fantastic, I have been using it for about a week and notice a positive difference in my skin and a reduction in fine lines. I’ve been using it as the last step in my skincare routine and find it has fit in perfectly with the other products I use.

  15. Rated 4 out of 5

I have only used it a couple of times but I do like the way my skin feels. I will keep using the product and hope that someone notices less wrinkles.

  29. Rated 3 out of 5

This is an ‘OK’ cream. It absorbs well and does not leave a residue, but I see no visible difference from using it however.
